At Solar Zatka (Umiya Multitech & Control India), every machine is manufactured with quality components and tested before dispatch. We offer a comprehensive warranty to ensure your peace of mind and long-term satisfaction with our products.

1. Warranty Coverage & Duration

The following warranty periods apply to Solar Zatka products:

  • Solar Zatka Machine (Main Unit): 12 Months — covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal use.
  • Solar Panel: 12 Months — covers manufacturing defects; does not cover physical damage or breakage.
  • Battery: 6 Months — covers capacity loss or failure due to a manufacturing defect; does not cover normal wear and tear.
  • Electronic Control Board / PCB: 12 Months — covers component failure under normal operating conditions.
  • Accessories (Wires, Connectors, Clamps, etc.): 3 Months — covers manufacturing defects only.

The warranty period begins from the date of delivery of the product to the customer.

2. What the Warranty Covers

  • Defects in materials or workmanship that arise during normal, intended use of the product.
  • Component failures not caused by external physical or environmental factors.
  • Free repair or replacement of defective parts or units, at our sole discretion.

3. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

The warranty will be considered void and no claim will be entertained in the following cases:

  • Damage caused by incorrect, improper, or unauthorized installation.
  • Misuse, abuse, or negligent handling of the product.
  • Physical damage — including cracks, burns, cuts, or breakage caused by the user.
  • Water ingress or damage due to flooding, rain exposure, or submersion beyond the rated protection level.
  • Damage caused by animals, rodents, or pests chewing or tampering with the product.
  • Damage due to power surges, lightning strikes, or electrical faults in the installation.
  • Unauthorized repair, modification, or tampering with the unit or its internal components.
  • Normal wear and tear of consumable components (battery degradation over time, fuse replacement, etc.).
  • Products with removed, defaced, or altered serial numbers or warranty stickers.
  • Damage caused by using non-Solar Zatka accessories or incompatible components.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or third-party platforms not authorized by us.

4. Warranty Claim Procedure

To claim warranty service, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team via WhatsApp (+91 99256 44131) or email (info@umiyamultitech.com) with your order number, date of purchase, and a clear description of the issue.
  2. Attach photographs or videos that demonstrate the defect or malfunction.
  3. Our technical team will guide you through basic remote troubleshooting steps first.
  4. If the issue is confirmed as a warranty defect and cannot be resolved remotely, we will advise you to send the product to our Ahmedabad service facility.
  5. For confirmed warranty claims, we will bear the return shipping cost. For other cases, shipping to our facility is at the customer’s expense.
  6. Warranty repair or replacement turnaround time: 7–15 business days from the date of receipt of the product at our facility.
  7. A repaired or replacement unit will be dispatched back to the customer at our cost.

5. Warranty Conditions

  • The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • The original purchase invoice must be presented as proof of purchase for all warranty claims.
  • We reserve the right to determine whether a defect qualifies as a manufacturing defect.
  • In case of replacement, the replaced unit carries the remaining warranty of the original product.
  • Warranty claims made after the warranty expiry date will not be entertained.

6. Out-of-Warranty Service

If your product is out of warranty, we still offer paid repair and service support. Contact us for a service quote. We stock genuine spare parts for all Solar Zatka models and can assist with repair, component replacement, and technical support.
